I love how each season brings unique beauty to my favorite locations. I’ve shot at Jerry Erwin Park in Spring Hill, TN multiple times, but the winter time gives it a whole new look. Yes, it was cold, but the soft winter light was so gorgeous for this family session!
I love this park. It has a nice paved trail that is almost a mile in length. At first, it just looks like an open field with the paved trail surrounding it. If you explore the park a little more, you’ll find several little nooks and crannies that make for beautiful photos.
The area shown here is one of my favorite hidden spots. I just loved the way the light was shining through the trees! I started with some shots of the whole family, and then got some individual shots of mom and dad with baby.
Next, I got some walking shots of the whole family. I then added in more movement with mom and dad swinging baby towards the camera.
As the sun started to go down, we headed to the open field to get those sweet sunset photos!
We started withe some sitting down shots on the blanket, and then ended the session with some walking shots.
