A Winnie the Pooh Themed Birthday Party
Over the Labor Day weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest little boy’s FIRST birthday party in Columbia, Tennessee. It was a lovely sunny day and was truly a beautiful day for a birthday party. The party decor had a color scheme of muted blues and yellows and little sprinkles of Winnie the Pooh and his pals throughout the scene. I was blown away by all of the little details his mama incorporated!
I am a sucker for details and I absolutely loved capturing them! My nurse heart loved the “sanitize before snuggles” sign the most. The cookies were custom decorated by the local company Sugar Magnolia Bakehouse. They definitely tasted as good as they looked! Check them out for your event!
There was just as much attention to detail outside as there was inside. Winnie the Pooh and Pals were scattered around the high chair underneath a balloon arch where the cake smash would soon take place.
Most importantly, the cake smash did not disappoint. Lawson was happy to play with his cake and smile at his family and friends gathered around him. He makes a photographer’s job easy!
This party was so fun to capture and I’m so grateful to have been a part of this sweet boy’s first birthday party.
